TO CELEBRATE THE BURY NEW ROAD DRIVE-THRU LAUNCH POPEYES® UK IS GIVING AWAY FREE CHICKEN SANDWICHES ON FRIDAY 26TH APRIL AND THE CHANCE TO WIN FREE CHICKEN SANDWICHES FOR A WHOLE YEAR* New Orleans chicken restaurant Popeyes® UK has announced that the launch of its Bury New Road drive-thru restaurant will open on Friday 26th April 2024, with the doors and lanes officially opening from 11am. To celebrate the opening of Manchester’s first drive-thru location, Popeyes® UK will be pulling out all the stops to showcase its New Orleans hospitality. On opening day the first 3 people queuing both on-foot and in cars will win free Chicken Sandwiches for a whole year*. Additionally, the first 25 customers in both queues will also be rewarded with a free Chicken Sandwich and exclusive Popeyes® UK merchandise. Popeyes® UK saw fans queuing for over 16 hours when it opened its first Manchester restaurant in Piccadilly Gardens last October, so it is advised to get down quickly as queues are expected for the viral Chicken Sandwich from the early morning. Chicken fans in Greater Manchester will get to experience Popeyes® world-famous ‘shatter crunch’ for themselves once they get their hands on the menu available at the Drive-Thru, including the iconic Popeyes® Chicken Sandwich, plus Southern US biscuits and gravy. Popeyes® will also be serving up its breakfast menu from Saturday 27th April. The ‘Brekkie’ menu launched around the UK in February, featuring British Breakfast classics with a New Orleans twist, such as the Big Cajun Breakfast Roll, Cajun Hash Browns and indulgent Nutella-topped buttermilk biscuits. Breakfast will be available until 11am every day, and will even include a Bacon Roll Meal for just £1.99, consisting of the Bacon Roll, a Hash Brown and a drink. The all new American chicken restaurant will mark the brand’s 11th opening in 2024 and 47th since landing in the UK in November 2021. The new opening will form part of Popeyes® plans to open 30 new locations in 2024. The Popeyes® UK Bury New Road Drive-Thru will open on 288-292 Bury New Road at 11am on Friday 26th April.
