‘ROCKING ON’ IN MEMORY OF NIALL PAGE

    SHARE |

NIALLFEST 2024 was yet another ‘Stellar’ success, that as well as remembering a fantastic Irlam young man Niall Page, also raised a fantastic amount in fundraising for a lifesaving voluntary organisation in memory of Niall.

The Greater Manchester Blood Bikes (GMBB) were delighted to receive over £2,600 the proceeds from the annual rock night that raises funds for a different good cause or charity each year, whilst remembering a lovely young man who was tragically taken from us, all to early.

The Catholic Club in Irlam was ‘rocking’ as live bands from all over the country took to the stage for a ‘smash hits’ night of music and memories. Remembering Niall, himself a very talented and skilled musician.

Niall’s parents Janet and Ian said, “Another fantastic night yet again. I would like to thank Richard Taylor for his total dedication to Niallfest and remembering his great friend.

A massive thank you to Ben Cullen, Sam Butterworth, and Barrie Golden for all their help and support; Angela Pennington, and Andrew Higham for their help with the raffle and on the night; Bill McLaughlin for all his continued help and support over the years and especially all the amazing bands that made it a night to remember yet again”.

Bryan Rushton representing the GMBB said, “What a fantastic night and an amazing amount of money raised that has been donated to the Greater Manchester Blood Bikes. On behalf of the GMBB I cannot thank enough all those that have helped and supported this amazing night that is Niallfest. We are a totally voluntary organisation that enable bloods, emergency prescriptions and other essential items to be transported around the Northwest in a quick, safe, and professional manner potentially saving lives along the way.”

Janet added, “We would also like to thank all the people who donated prizes for our brilliant raffle including Kingsland Drinks, the raffle is a big part of the fundraising on the night. Thank you also to the Catholic Club that is a great venue for their continued support.

It's been 13 years since we have lost our Niall, and it has been so hard… Niallfest brings everyone together to remember all our fab memories. Roll on and rock on for Niallfest 2025 when we will hopefully be raising funds for the RNLI”.
