You are invited to take part in the fun at one or all of the 'Open Mic' nights which are being held at the Monton Bowling and Social Club. The events will be hosted by James Dolan and ALL acts receive a FREE pint AFTER performing. Dates: Friday October 20th Friday November 10th Saturday December 2nd Time: 7PM The club was formed in 1896, although thought to exist less formally from at least 1876. Monton Bowling club was first registered as a club on 28th October 1896 although it is thought to have existed less formally from around 1876. It was formed at that time by 7 local businessmen, which included 2 councillors and at that time provision was made for additional tennis courts although they no longer exist.
