SALFORD VOTES NEEDED - AMMIES MATT SMITH SHORTLISTED FOR PFA LEAGUE TWO PLAYER OF THE MONTH

    SHARE |

He is known for his hattricks of late but Salford City's Matt Smith has a chance of doing the double by scooping another monthly award after being shortlisted for the PFA League Two Fans’ Player of the Month for October 2023!

The striker has already won the Sky Bet League Two award, but needs your votes to secure another accolade for his October stats, so we are calling on all true and proud Salfordian's to get behind the lad.

A personal-best monthly return of eight goals in six league games has put the 34-year-old just one goal behind his best scoring season in a single league campaign.

His goals have also contributed towards an improved run of form for Salford, which has lifted the Ammies from 20th to 13th with 11 points won from a possible 18.

Voting is open from now until 11:59pm on Monday 13th November, and the winner will be announced next week.

Voting takes just a few seconds and all that is required is your name and a valid email address.
