Unfortunately Swinton's popular winger Richard Lepori has sustained a serious injury whilst playing for Italy during the World Cup last autumn, and although the club knew he would likely miss the majority of the 2023 season they wanted to keep him involved because he is such an important, influential and experienced member of the Swinton squad. Now back to full fitness, ‘Lippy’ will be looking forward to much more game time in 2024, and will want to add significantly to his 43 Lions appearances and 20 club tries to date.
