Irlam FC have announced that this evenings home fixture against Burscough FC will sadly not be able to go ahead due to a soggy pitch causing unsuitable playing conditions. A section of the Silver Street pitch is pretty much under water at this time and unable to be used. Snowfall over the weekend has resulted in a number of local pitches and sports grounds left dealing with the melt water. The team has announced that a new date for the match will be announced as soon as possible.
