Emergency services were called to Clifton Country Park shortly after 4pm this afternoon (Wednesday 10th July), following reports that a woman had sadly be discovered unresponsive inside a vehicle on the car park.
Paramedics attended and determined that the woman had passed away in the vehicle.
The park was temporarily closed off to the public whilst police carried out their investigations.
Police say that they believe that there are no suspicious circumstances relating to the woman’s death, no further details have been given.

A spokesperson for GMP, said:
“We have been in attendance at Clifton Country Park this evening (Wednesday 10 July 2024), where very sadly the body of a woman was found in a vehicle shortly after 4pm.
“The woman’s family have been informed and are being supported. There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.”
