A woman was left fighting for her life following an incident during which she ended up in the water on Salford Quays today (August 13).
Police responded to reports of concern for the woman who was pulled out of the water and taken to hospital in what is described as being in a critical condition.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police, said:
“At around 12.10 today (Tuesday, August 13 2024), we were called to reports of a concern for welfare of a woman at Salford Quays. Emergency services attended and a woman was taken out of the water.”
“She has been taken to hospital where she remains in critical condition. Enquiries are ongoing.”
