Whilst there he spoke to Steve about his memories of capturing what would be seen as an iconic period of much needed urban regeneration in later years. This hidden gem is under threat of closure unless more people start attending and they can find volunteers to help put on the shows.

Tony Flynn took a look at the spectacular Monton Garden on Stafford Road in Ellesmere Park where he spoke with the very green fingered to Tony and Tracey who are holding an open day and charity plant sale this Saturday from 10am until 4pm as part of the National Garden Scheme. Admission is £5 and all money raised will go to Maggies @ Christies Hospital.Audio may be low on this video.

We spoke to John Brierly who has lovingly restored what was a heap of rusty metal into something which we hope will last another 100 years.
