A mammoth fundraising event started today from the MS Therapy Centre (NW) Eliza Ann Street Patricroft with a virtual race around the world to raise funds for the Centre.

This is the brainchild of Anthony Hughes a Trustee of the chairty in which volunteers will follow the one taken by Phileas Fogg and Passepartout in the Jules Verne novel Around the World in 80 Days.
However the participants don’t leave the country they are asked to log the miles they cover either by walking, running, cycling you name it, any way of racking up the miles which then will be converted into money.
The virtual race will finish back at the MS Centre in 80 days time on Wednesday 18th September and it’s not too late for you to get involved.
