The first game of 2021 for Winton Wanderers U13 Flames following the Covid lockdown was a 9v9 home fixture at Cleavleys versus Mossbank JFC from Bolton. After a cagey and slightly rusty start, Winton built some pressure and were unlucky not to take the lead with a free kick from Lacey tipped over the bar. The pressure eventually paid off with a poachers finish by new girl Beebs starting up front in her debut. Beebs then added a second with a lovely lob from the edge of the box. Mossbank’s heads didn’t go down though and Winton’s defenders had to keep winning their forward ball
