SHEIK WITHDRAWS FROM MANCHESTER UNITED BIDDING PROCESS AFTER LATEST BID REJECTED

    SHARE |

Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al Thani has reportedly withdrawn his bid from the process to buy Premier League club Manchester United following his latest offer to purchase 100% of the club outright being refused.

The Sheik had offered £5billion for the club but the bid was rejected by the Glazier family who currently own and control the club.

The Glaziers are reported to be in talks with Sir Jim Radcliffe who is thought to have made an offer for 25% of the club which would leave the Glaziers in overall control. The deal is said to be set to be ratified in an upcoming board meeting next week.
