The loose forward has been a standout performer during her two years at the club and it will come as no surprise to her teammates or coaches that she is continuing to set the bar in her position. These statistics are calculated across the top two divisions of women’s rugby league and do not include the clubs final fixture of the season – the playoff semi-final against Leigh Leopards. Powering her way to the top early in the campaign, Evans finished top of carries with 217 – ahead of multiple members of York Valkyrie’s Super League-winning side. Evans – who has enjoyed previous Super League experience with Warrington Wolves – was also the top tackler, finishing on 374 over just ten games, with her nearest competitor finishing on 371 over 11 games.
