Ryan Brierley has put all recent speculation to bed by committing his future at the Salford Stadium until the end of 2026. This extension comes directly after what was widely regarded as the best of his professional career so far. In 29 appearances, Brierley provided 18 try contributions across 2023 and was so often at the heart of our best attacking performances. That, in tandem with some outstanding defensive contributions across the campaign, earned mass plaudits from his teammates, the coaching staff and the wider fanbase. He was recognised for his incredible efforts by picking up the Supporters’ Player and Coaches’ Player of the Year trophies at the Devils end of season awards evening.
