Salford Schools FA Has A Serious Goose Poo – Can You Help?

Salford Schools FA, based at Broughton Playing Fields, are facing a threat that if not addressed could result in the closure of the ground and the end of schools football which has been played on the fields for the past 120 years.

For several years now a flock of Canada Geese have been leaving copious amounts of droppings on the fields where the boys and girls play their football.

This year the problem seems worse than ever and despite the volunteers efforts to remove this, the next day the problem just returns.
The SSFA are seeking help from anyone who has any experience of dealing with this kind of issue.

They have looked at a variety of bird scarring devices but reviews suggest that these would not be effective in their situation.

Shooting or culling the flock is not an option.
