Officers from the Salford Central Neighbourhood Police Team have intensified their patrols in the Charlestown area following multiple reports of drug dealing on Manifold Street, Hadley Street, and Basset Avenue. The increased police presence led to the swift detention and arrest of a 17-year-old male, suspected of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
The arrest, which took place shortly after the patrols commenced, resulted in the seizure of approximately 80 wraps of cocaine, along with cash, mobile phones, and a balaclava.
