  • GUIDO 'FAWKES UP' WITH AN UTTERLY CRINGE-WORTHY GAFFE ABOUT REBECCA LONG BAILEY'S 'MILLIONAIRE HUSBAND'

    The Labour Party

It would seem that the knives are out for Rebecca Long Bailey in the gutter press today, not only have they taken pot shots at her appearance in a disgusting article by the Telegraphs Allison Pearson - but now they are seemingly going after her family to try and discredit her.

There is a clear line that needs to be drawn between attacking the politics of a politician and attacking the person themselves.

Meanwhile, the Salford and & Eccles MP managed to see the funny side of a false report about the supposed wealth of her husband after the Tory-Centric 'Guido Fawkes' order-order website failed to do its research properly and ran an absolutely ludicrous article about Ms Long Baileys husband Steven being a wealthy multi-millionaire shareholder in a chemical company.

A fact which is utterly untrue.

A clear case of dropping the ball, not doing your homework properly and mistaken identity, something that Guido is becoming more renowned for these days.

Rebecca made light of the cringe-worthy gaffe by saying that she clearly married the wrong Steve Bailey.

Eventually Guido quickly deleted the post but took a little time longer to fess up, admit they got it wrong and apologise to the Labour Leadership hopeful for their little foobar.

The website had mistakenly confused her husband with another slightly more wealthy Steve Bailey who does indeed work in the chemical industry.
