  • FAKE REBECCA LONG BAILEY SUPPORT SITE DIVERTED VISITORS TO HER RIVALS

    The Labour Party

Dirty tricks have been called out after it would appear that an unknown prankster took the time to set up a website supposedly in support of Salford MP Rebecca Long Bailey, which in fact turned out to be diverting visitors to one of her main rivals in the Labour leadership contest - Lisa Nandy.

We stress that there is absolutely no suggestion that the Wigan MP or any of her staff had anything to do with the rogue website, which is now redirecting to the Labour Party main page after being caught out.

The site which was set up on the 17th of December 2019 was being publicised on social media before it was reported by a member of sqwawkbox.org, not long after the domain mysteriously diverted once more to Labours home page where it has remained pointed since.

The original page showing the redirection can still be viewed via internet archive: http://archive.li/Ni6UY
