  • WANT TO SEE MORE POLICE IN YOUR AREA? LET BORIS KNOW

    The Conservative Party

On his first day in office, the new Prime Minister stood outside Downing Street and declared that he would put an additional 20,000 police onto the streets of the UK to help combat the rise in crime.

However it could be argued that the rise in crime was partly fuelled by reductions in police numbers over the past 10 years as we have lost over 20,000 officers, so this new move would be more or less only reversing what was done.

This is your chance to let Boris know where those new officers would best serve, if you feel that you have excessively high crime in your area and additional officers are required then fill in the form below and let Boris know.

The prime minister said the recruitment drive will begin in September and he wants it completed over the next three years.
