Councillor Iain Lindley selected as Conservative candidate to fight for Worsley and Eccles South seat in June.
Salford Conservative's have selected Councillor Iain Lindley to fight their corner at the upcoming General Election in June. He will go head to head with Barbra Keeley who is the current sitting MP for the area.
Iain was selected by his local party members during a meeting at Little Hulton Conservative Club on the 26th April.
Iain was elected as Councillor for Walkden South in June 2004, and was re-elected in 2007, 2011 and 2015. He was the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Worsley & Eccles South constituency in 2010 and in 2015 and was elected as Chairman of Salford Conservatives in March 2016. He is Chief Whip of the Conservative Councillors Group.
