Officers from the Salford Central Neighbourhood Police Team are intensifying their patrols in the Pendleton and Charlestown areas in response to ongoing reports of drug dealing. This afternoon’s efforts led to the arrest of two males, a 17-year-old and a 47-year-old, on suspicion of Possession With Intent To Supply Class A Drugs.

The patrols commenced following community reports of drug activities on Manifold Street, Hadley Street, and Basset Avenue. During their operation, officers detained the suspects and seized approximately 40 wraps of cocaine/heroin, along with cash, phones, and an electric bike.
