Salford City Council is set to commence with a significant 12-week improvement project at the Bury New Road/Moor Lane/Singleton Road junction, aimed at enhancing safety and traffic flow. Starting July 1st, the project includes the installation of new push-button traffic signals, road and footpath resurfacing, and the addition of tactile paving for visually impaired pedestrians. Street lighting will also be improved.
Construction will occur from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with temporary traffic signals and lane closures in place. Motorists and residents are advised to plan for potential delays and stay updated via the council’s official project page.
