Jonathan Windsor (31/10/1992) has been found following extensive police searches after escaping lawful custody from prison staff.
Police say that he was located overnight and is now back in custody.
Jonathan was being held at HMP Forest Bank in Agecroft and managed to escape custody during a visit to Salford Royal Hospital on Sunday afternoon (6th October).
His escape has raised serious questions about security measures used by prison officers during such visits.
Police have not disclosed where he was found but he is now safely back behind prison bars.
A statement by Greater Manchester Police, read:
“Following enquiries to find Jonathan Windsor (31/10/1992) yesterday who was wanted after escaping lawful custody from prison staff. He was located overnight and is now back in custody.
