Police say the woman has sustained serious injuries as a result of her fall.

A woman has suffered serious injuries after falling from Sycamore Court in Pendleton, the block is 17 stories high but at the moment it is unclear just how high she fell from or the circumstances which led to the incident.

Emergency services were called at around 11:30am (Aug 2nd) and paramedics treated her at the scene before transporting her to hospital. Her injuries are said to be extremely serious.

The area was taped off and police and paramedics remained at the scene to conduct an investigation.
