POWER CUT IN IRLAM
Parts of the M44 area have been hit by a power cut this afternoon and Electricity Northwest is currently trying to restore power to 39 homes.

Local News

Just after 1:30 pm this afternoon the power went off for 39 homes in Irlam and not all homes are expected to be on until around 11 pm this evening.

It is unclear as to what caused the problem but Electricity Northwest are currently on the scene trying to fix it.

Fridges and Freezers should be just fine but it is suggested that fridge freezers in particular should not be opened as it will ensure that the food remains frozen for a longer time.

As soon as we know more we will update this post, or you can call the power company on 105 and they will be able to update you.
