As part of the ongoing battle against drug suppliers in the region, the latest discovery will ensure that this crop never makes it into the supply chain.

Less than a month after police discovered a huge cannabis farm in Lower Broughton, they have come across yet another.

As part of their ongoing attempts to disrupt the supply of drugs in and around the North West of the country, GMP in Salford have discovered another substantial crop that would have otherwise entered the supply chain.

The sophisticated set up was used to nurture the plants in various stages of growth, they will now be bagged as evidence and then later destroyed.

A female was arrested at the scene for further questioning.
