Salford City FC are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Lois Maynard

Twenty-eight year old Lois Maynard is the latest recruit as Salford City plot their assault on next season's National League North title.

Manchester born Lois is a midfielder who started his career in the North West.Counties League with Daisy Hill, Chadderton and Flixton.

His steadily growing reputation earned Lois a move to FC Halifax Town in the summer of 2013.

During the 2014-2015 season he recorded a career best 11 goals and signed on professional terms with Tranmere Rovers the following summer.

Since then Lois has been a key member of the Rovers side but has now made the decision to join Salford City.

Another top notch signing for the Ammies and with seven full caps for St. Kitts & Nevis under his belt, Lois joins the growing band of internationals to represent Salford City.

At 6' 3" Lois is an imposing figure and can play in defence as well as midfield.

We'd like to extend a warm Salford City welcome to Lois for what should be a memorable time as an Ammie.
