MARK SHELTON SIGNS ON FOR SALFORD

Salford City are pleased to announce the signing of highly rated midfielder Mark Shelton from Alfreton Town

Twenty year old midfielder Mark Shelton has become the latest addition to Salford City's squad and will join the club in time for pre-season training - see an interview with Markhere.

Mark started out with Burton Albion then joined Northern Premier League Ilkeston at the end of the 2015-2016 season. In November of last year he made the move to National League North side Alfreton Town and has been a regular member of the side ever since.

A compensation agreement has been agreed with Alfreton and Mark will join the Ammies in time for pre-season training.

A highly-rated young player, Mark is a great addition to the squad and we'd like to offer him a warm welcome to Moor Lane.
