Forward Jake Beesley has agreed to join Salford City for a two-year term when his contract with Chesterfield expires at the end of June.
Twenty year old Jake made his Chesterfield debut in October 2014 in a Football League Trophy tie versus Scunthorpe United and went on to make ten appearances for the Spireites.
At 6' 1'' Jake will add plenty of physical presence to the managers' attacking options and is a great addition to a squad that is shaping up impressively.
We'd like to welcome Jake - son of former Wigan and Sheffield United defender Paul - to Moor Lane for what promises to be an exciting season ahead.
