Emergency service have rushed to the scene of a collision between two of the distinctive yellow single decker Bee Network buses in Eccles this evening (31st October).

A large cordon has been put in place close to the Eccles Metrolink stop and J.D. Wetherspoons public house on Regent Street, with both buses seeming to have taken significant damage, one showing clear signs of impact to the front drivers side window.

It is currently unknown if passengers were on board the buses at the time but a large emergency service presence was quickly established with eye witness reports of both vehicles being inspected.

Roads around the vicinity have been closed to traffic but their is no impact being reported on the wider bus network.
