In a major crackdown on drug-related crime, local neighborhood teams have seized thousands of pounds worth of Class A drugs and numerous weapons, resulting in the arrest of two individuals.
In Irlam, officers apprehended a suspect with a significant quantity of Class A drugs found in his vehicle. A subsequent search of the suspect’s residence uncovered further evidence of drug supply, including offensive weapons. This operation highlights the thorough work of local law enforcement in dismantling drug distribution networks.
Meanwhile, in Eccles, a second suspect was arrested after boldly offering drugs to plain-clothes neighborhood officers on patrol. Expecting a cash exchange, the suspect was instead met with warrant cards. He was found carrying over 150 wraps of Class A drugs, further exemplifying the successful efforts of our local police.
Both arrests emphasize the detrimental impact of Class A drug supply on communities, often involving the exploitation of vulnerable individuals.
