‘Halo West’ Logistics and Industrial Development Approved in Eccles

Salford City Council has given the green light to Peel Waters for a substantial logistics and industrial development on Liverpool Road in Eccles. This project, known as Halo West, will transform a former waste recycling site into a significant employment hub.

The development spans 108,553 square feet and includes eight units, ranging from 4,338 to 39,460 square feet. These units are designed to Grade A standards with a target of achieving a BREEAM Excellent rating, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Located strategically near the M60, the development promises excellent connectivity, which is expected to bring considerable economic benefits to the area. The planning application number for this project is 23/4567/FUL.

Peter Linstead, Development Director at Peel Waters, highlighted the project’s potential to boost local employment and economic growth. The development is supported by a team of specialists from AEW, Langton Development Services, and WSP, ensuring a comprehensive approach to its planning and execution.
